You may need to reset the window position data. This information is often wiped out from systems memory when battery power is lost, and this information is required to be present for vario roof operation.
Lower all windows by pressing down and holding the window switches - do not use auto-down, you must press and hold the switch until all windows are down.
Then, lift and hold the window switches to raise the windows, and continue to hold the switches in the lifted position for 5-6 seconds after the windows are raised.
