Anyone seen the Lorinser side skirts in person?

I'm trying to decide if they are very cool or just a bit over the top. Anyone have them on their car or seen them in person? Your thoughts?

i remember i saw a sl55 back when they were very exclusive. . i'd say 2 years ago (were they on the roads then?)

it was rockin' some huge chrome rims, cherry red. . and had that lorinser clip . . along with chrome side mirrors

i personally think the lorinser clip on is pretty tacky looking . . i've seen them plenty of times in person . . personal taste . . i like a cleaner look, so lorinser isnt for me

and def. not the right choice if you already have amg . . stick with one brand guys haa

I really love those Lorinser wheels, but I'm not sure about the side skirts. They dont looks too bad in the photo, but from seeing them in other photos and a cool DVD called Tuning Elite, I prefer the normal skirts, or the Brabus ones with LED lights Personal taste, but I dont think that style really suits the SL. Oh... but did I mention those wheels?

IMO I think the lorinser kit overall is a lil overdone. I like to go along the "cleaner" lines of other body kits and sides. Just my 2 cents...and yes the wheels are hot!~!

I agree that the Lorinser SLR style package is WAY overdone and the F1 quarter panels are indeed over the top. As for the front and rear, I also agree with the general concensus that the AMG looks great and functions very well.

But I just went down to the Lorinser showroom (CEC) and saw a car they were prepping for Fletcher Jones and the skirts looked very tight. Not a great departure from the original lines; still the streamlined look of the originals but the vents look great in person... they match the OE body vents perfectly. Overall it's a moderately more agressive look than stock, but in a fairly subtle way. Enough to give it an edge, not so much to detract from a great looking car. At any rate, I think I'm going to take the plunge so I'll post some photos after the install if anyone wants to see how it turns out.
