SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: SL55 AMG Year?

2007 MBZ SL550
SL55 AMG Year?
I have been looking for the best year of the SL 55 AMG. Some tell me 2004-2006, and others tell me 2007-2008. I have read up on the different configurations but have only driven the 2007. Could someone please educate me on the best year (s) for purchasing this car?

2009 SL63 AMG
2007 / 2008 models have the 2nd generation of ABC, an updated supercharger and an updated Command system (among other improvements as well, I'm sure).
A 2008 model with the Performance Package is the best iteration of the SL55 from the factory.
They're all great, though, so go with the cleanest and most well-maintained car you can find.

2007 Sl 55 AMG
Car was re designed in 2007 and 08 fixed most bugs in it including an upgrade in horsepower to 510, suspension was upgraded to ABC 2, almost reliable car then they
changed the motor in 2009 to a 6.3 NA and gave it a new front cap not really to my liking kinda lost a little glamour and didn't feel as fast without the supercharger
03 to 06 I believe were more troublesome cars drove an 04 felt heavier and less responsive
