Carlsson is supposedly the only Tuner that actually races Mercedes cars. (with the exception of AMG) So the development of their products should be well proven, I have no experience with them, so I can't say for sure.
This car looks like it will be a real beast. The article says top speed of over 200 mph, it will probably top 210.

This tells us the obvious, which is if we want to lose alot of weight on our SL's, then the seats should go. It should provide a nice performance upgrade if the right aftermarket seats are out there. And guess what, no voiding of the warranty!!!! Sometimes the obvious is staring you right in the face. And guess what, no voiding of warranty!!!

the carlsson sl is a real track car. the power to weight ratio is very good for track use. low weight is more important than power.
in the straight line perfomance maybe the others (65, 600 tuned...) are faster. but around the track...
