Hi everyone,
Hre in Denver, I am required to get an emissions test, where they put the car on the rollers and rev the engine for minutes....do I take mine in the all wheel drive lane or the normal one, sorry for the stupid question but I just don't know and I am sure they wont, I dont want them to destroy my car...

What a ridiculous process...
I would call one of those stations with the "special dynamometers" and verify that they can test a car with RWD and, assuming factory, 19" wheels with low profile tires.

LOW PROFILE RIMS & OVERSIZED TIRES - Please note that front-wheel and all-wheel drive vehicles with low-profile rim sizes 17-inches-or-larger in diameter or vehicles with wheel sizes larger than 34 inches must be tested on special dynamometers capable of testing vehicles with these unusual features. Please take your vehicle to the Sheridan, Boulder, Ken Caryl or Fort Collins stations for inspection. These are the only stations in the program area equipped with specialized dynamometers that can test these vehicles.

See ehat I mean, I was sooo scared, none of them.knew what they were doing, they tried to do rear wheel only and saw the car was too low, I didnt even know there were special stations and neither did they. Thanks for the replyOriginally Posted by HLG600

You could also check with some independent auto shops in the area that specialize in European cars...or even a local MB dealer service center.Originally Posted by MBE550wow

I'm sure this has come up before and that there's a workaround out there.
