SL63 Starter R&R (stuck)
I’ve looked at tons of videos and threads and I cannot find anyone that has documented doing this in a 63.
given some constraints. I’m unable to remove the motor mount.
I have the starter loose. But am unable to squeeze it past everything.
there’s not enough flex in the exhaust for it to help unless I drop the whole thing.
officially this is the hardest starter I’ve ever replaced. 😆
any tips?

2009 SL63, 1999 E300 (462k miles and counting)
for those that come along later. 2009 Sl63 R230 with stock manifolds. I was able to remove the starter by undoing the exhaust at the headers (both sides) and removing the heat shield for the passenger motor mount.
