Need new front Shocks...rebuilt or new?
Hey guys, I need a set of two front shocks for my 2008 SL65. What aftermarket brands do you recommend or should I go with OEM? Is there a rebuild service?

I’m interested in the same question I believe that this has been addressed in other threads but some choices for you are rebuild master tech, Arnott industries , ABCspecialists.nl and original equipment. I’ve heard good and bad on each of these except original equipment, which is very expensive. I guess it’s time to start searching the forum to see what other people have posted historically. I have a right front strut that’s leaking.

Just sold my '11 Porsche TurboS cab for an '03 SL55!
Rebuilt for sure, likely just as good as new, and MUCH cheaper. Replace only the one(s) that leak..........no need to do pairs as the ABC system takes care of things. And age miles aren't a good indication of remaining life.......they can go indefinitely (or not).
The source I used and recommend (because after I used one and it leaked 2.5 years later, the replaced it and covered all shipping, just wanted proof of purchase, which luckily, I kept, is Arnott.
