I am installing a new stereo in my 2008 SL 55 AMG and I accidently pulled on a wire and broke the clip. If anyone knows the pin out of these 3 wires I would appreciate it very much. not sure what wire in what place
Working on the underside of the center console. Near the shifter there is a 3 pin/wire connector that looks to connect to the shift indicator bezel, the connector is burgundy as I believe the connector on the bezel is as well.
I don't know what color wire goes first/second/third. Does anyone have a picture or any way of knowing.

Could you trace the wires back to the other end? If there’s a clip there you could replicate the insert pattern, but there might be wire crossing so it’s not foolproof.
If you trace back and they terminate soldered to a circuit board, you could see how they come from the solder. Making sure the wires aren’t crossed and are flat you could reinsert them into the clip in this fashion, this isn’t the best method though as the same issue above is a possibility.
If they do terminate soldered to a circuit board, sometimes the board has indicators for what colour/wire goes where. Then the flat trace back to the clip would most certainly work.
Lastly there’s a part number on the clip, if you search that number (I can’t see it clearly enough or I’d help) it may have a diagram for wire placement. Reply with all the numbering on the clip and I’ll see what it comes up with if you’d like.
