2013 SL63 ABC pump damper replacement questions
My Sl63 has developed a vibration/noise that you feel in floorboard and steering wheel. The symptoms are identical to several threads that have had to have the
pump pulsation damper replaced.
It looks like I would be able to remove and replace it myself. Can anyone tell me if the system is under pressure at the pump when the car is not running?

I have the same issue on my 2013 SL 63 . Not sure if it is under pressure or not . Mine is almost like a humming / Vibration . Seems to be on the left side . When it happens, it seems to happen for a few seconds ,then goes away. I am taking it to the shop to have it fixed on Wednesday . I will keep you posted if you like .

I replaced the Damper on the back of the pump and it fixed my issue. Took about 2 minutes to replace.
It is not under pressure when the engine is off, Lost about 6 drops of fluid. If you are even slightly handy
you could replace it yourself.

Thanks for the info, i could have replaced it before , but handicap now , so it would be to hard for me to do now . I sure hope that is the issue with mine . I just bought it last month and it only has 20,000 miles on it . Thank you for the info again ,and good luck to you

Its me again , where did you find the part ? I have looked everywhere and can not seem to find it . I tried pulsation pump, and Pressure Damper on the internet , but still no luck . Was just curious where you found your damper . A friend of mine said he would help me put it on .

Steve - I ordered it from " mboemparts.com". It was listed as a MB rebuilt part. I had never used them before but shipping was fast.

I'm having the same issue with my seats. It seems like the driver lumbar doesn't inflate or stay inflated and the passenger side it is very pronounced in the lower lumbar and I can't seem to bleed the air off of it. Does th same pump run both seats?

The pump issues in this thread are referring to the ABC suspension pump.
Your issue sounds like the air pump that works the seat bolsters/massage/lumbar features.
I had an issue with the air pump early on and in my 2013 SL63 the same air pump worked both seats.
