New to Group Just Purchased an 06 SL65 AMG
Hello MB World I just purchased a 2006 SL65 AMG, what advice can you all provide a new guy to the group? I've never owned a MB, let alone a SL65 so I am a fish out of water. I'm normally a Mustang (2005-09) kind of guy but decided I was getting a little older and needed to have a smoother ride and better looks. I just took delivery of the car this past Friday and I have driven it only once. I am in the process of getting it registered etc. but first I want to ensure I get everything done mechanically to the car to get it checked out. I have limited maintenance records and I have reached out to the previous owner in hopes he can provide some more background on the car.

Porsche guy who drives SL63 w/ perf pkg AND perf suspension
MB has a complete service history of the car. They can view it but alot of them will not give it out to customers. These cars are getting old. They have some common maintenance that may need to be done. Let the dealer go over the history and recommend what you may need.
