2003 SLK 230 - Large door dent! What to do?
Hi,
I am new to this forum, but I have enjoyed reading through the posts on your site.
I have a question that I hope some of you could help me with.
Last weekend somebody ran into the passenger side door of my SLK, leaving quite a large dent and some scratches. I was really p'd off at the time, but have been so busy at work I haven't had time to deal with repairing it.
My question is: Is it easy to simply replace the entire exterior body panel with a new one? If so, what would this cost (ball park)?
Thanks in advance for your help.

The reason I ask ...
Sure it would be easy to just take it to a dealer / service center, but I live in Asia and know I will have problems communicating with them. I would simply like to know what my options are before I bring the car in on the weekend.
I have searched extensively on the internet, but couldn't seem to find anything on the subject.
Again, any info would be appreciated.

Yes sure you can, I did, if you look at my crash link. It wasn't cheap however and thankfully insurance paid for it. It cost €12,000.00 But this was for my panels too.
