stereo options on a 99 slk 230 AMG
I just bought a 99 230 AMG and it had a 12 disc Alpine changer, an amp and an external crossover in the trunk. Are these factory upgrades from mercedes and if so are they covered in the bumper to bumper warranty? I ask because I think one of the speakers are blown and I wanted to take it to the dealer and have them look at it. any suggestions?

No, those are not Mercedes accessories. The Mercedes CD changer is only 6 discs, the amp is located under the passenger floorboard.
A Mercedes dealer probably won't touch it. You need to go to a stereo shop. If it's really just a blown speaker, they'll probably install it for free.
