Need a front license plate bracket for a 2004 S/E SLK230. Does anyone know the part # or where I could purchase one without going through an M/B dealer. I've searched the internet and different forums without success. Purchased the car from an private party in Ky and they're not required to wear a front plate. He said he didn't get the bracket when he purchased the vehicle. Thanks...................................

You have to go to the dealer. I replaced mine, it was inexpensive. 34 dollars
