Who has heated seats?

If you do, would you post pics of where the switches are located?
I assume it is in the center console some where. If it is I would like to find a repacement piece for my wifes car. I am having Recaros that are heated put in her car, and her stock ones are not. So I need a switch location and factory would be the best. TIA Rob.

Wow, I thought the seat heaters were standard equipment.

Anyway, the seat heater switches are on each end of the row of switches in this picture.

Heated Seats

I HATE heated seats. One of the reasons I bought this particular car.
Sat in a friends car with heated seats and almost jumped through the roof when he started it up. Thought for sure I had burned my a$$.
It just doesn't get that cold here in Seattle to need those.

I know my wife has used the seat heaters a few times on the few really cold days we get. I'll be wishing my car had heated seats come those cold January morning drives to work.

Tech is great ... when it works.

I live in San Diego and one of the best features of my car is heated seat. They're good in the SL on cool days when the top is down and in the chilly mornings in my CL. I like it extra toasty with the heated steering wheel on. I see heated seats/steering as features that make my daily commute special.

It's not a path I'd recommend to everyone, but I would have to try cutting the switch holes out of my stock panel. I'm thinking that a Dremmel tool plus some sandpaper/emery cloth and some considerable patience would do the trick.

Thanks for your opinion, but thats not what I asked for.
My wife likes them. She misses the one in the Jeep.(not her daily driver anymore) As I said I am already having Recaros put in. I would like some help if any is available to find that stock panel with switches in it. That way I don't have to fabricate/cut anything to make them work.

Look on E bay for the panel. Lots of parts there.
Stealership always has them.
Potomac German auto (benz auto yard) may have one.

The switches are integrated with a heater control module which allows for hi/lo setting. Won't be cheap I'll bet.

Have to be careful. If you type 'SLK', you will get SLK 320, but not SLK320. Use 'SLK*', which means slk + anything or nothing, or 'slk (230,320)'. which means slk as one word plus either 230 or 320 as another word. It is not case-sensitive. If you get too many items, you can exclude some by using -.
