So I just remembered that my car was originally from Cali, what is the exhaust restrictions they put on it? Because I live in Michigan and we don't have high standards at all. So if anybody could tell me if its a extra resonator or what not that would be really nice. I will have it removed asap and get all the hp I paid for.... Speaking of that I'm thinking about selling mine some time soon to get a newer corvette. What do you think about that?

Most cars in the US are sold meeting California Emmissions standards so there are not a lot of stock differences from state to state. You can get rid of the resonator and just weld in a pipe for more sound and power. But if you are going to sell the car, I would leave it as is.

I'm so frusterated! I can't make my mind up to sell or keep the car. I love it, but I want more power! I bought that reiger kit for it too. I will pry just end up keeping it but I need some mods and theres no way i'm buying that pulley kit from some guy in a forum.

A friend of mine has an autorized Renntech shop. I can give you his information so you can talk to him about the pully kit and the ECU programming for the 230. You can also do the exhaust and get more horse power and a better sound. You might enjoy the car a lot more then and want to keep it.

That would be really nice. I know I would like the car a lot more if it had more hp. Also you can send the info but it might be a while before I make the call. I just got fired today from my bull**** job. I took 4 days off because my grandma died, it hit me really hard and they fired me because of that.

I've owned two recent model corvettes... I'll just tell you that you'll miss the quality and style of your SLK. I'd say keep it but don't mess with the emissions. Good luck.

Buy LinH's pulley kit .
Ive got it and so have many other pre 2000 owners. Works well. Pulley is proper ASP pulley. Only the intake pipe etc is supplied by Linh.
You will need the bits he supplies, inc fuel reg, plugs and Maf relocaction kit.
