'04 CL500 '08 ML320CDI
SLK Obsession
I have this obsession to get the wife a '02 SLK. So I find a 320 at a non-Mercedes dealer in Chicago: it's Bahama Blue (I believe that's the color name - not my favorite, but what the hey?), loaded, 10+K miles and $28K. It's eating me alive! Luckily Chicago is 280 miles away... Then last Monday stopped at a dealer a mere 90 miles away, and there sits a '02, blue 230! Luckily, they want the same money but this one has 37K miles. Will it never end?!?!?!

Drive the 280 miles.
You are going to need the extra waranty it offers.

$28K is WAY too high for an '02 with that many miles. $25K is more realistic. The 320 in Chicago is a much better deal.

Get a 320. Most are loaded anyway with heated seats and possibly headlight washers. There are enough of them out there to get the deal you want.
