What Should I Do!?! Modify Or Wait

Sup guys. Im stuck. I have a silver 98 c-230 right now. I can either start fixing up this car right now ( i have the money) or i can wait 5 months (when my grades come in) to get an slk (used one). If i wait, then i cant do anything to my car and i think its soo ugly stock. What would you guys do?

Because i want an slk and want to know if its worth waiting for or not. How the car drives, wat problems they have, benefits... Slk owners could answer that question for me, not c-class owners.

Of course, the SLK is worth the wait!

Whatever mods you put in your C now, you will not be able to recoup when you sell the car.

The SLK is a convertible hardtop and it is like having 2 cars in one; a roadster and a coupe. So how can you lose? It is a win, win situation.

If you can afford it, go for a SLK320 or better still, the SLK32 AMG. It is one car that needs no futher modification! :p

I kinda like my C280 stock. I admit it is a little boring but it will lose its value if you modify it. Especially since the purchaser is likely to be an older conservative.

You will miss the 2 extra doors and the ability to carry people with the SLK. I think the SLK230 has more power compared to the C230 and you will find a lot more people looking at your SLK230 compared to the C.

I personally prefer the SLK230 but the ride in the C is a whole lot better when you are spending long periods in your car.

Good luck on your decision.

LOL, Thanx for your replies, im gonna wait for the slk. My grades come in the first of January and ill get my car that week two. The only mod i wanna do to the slk when i get it is a sound system because i wanna get the new one when it comes out. Do you guys know when that is?
