SLK/R170: Dunlop SP 9000

Dunlop SP 9000
Have any of you had any experience with the Dunlop SP 9000 tires?
I have read mixed reviews on their performance so not sure what to think. I do not drive aggressively so I just need a good tire without over spending.
I have had a difficult time finding tires as almost no one stocks 'V' rated tires and I want to see one before I actually buy them. The SP 9000 is about the only tire I have seen with the look I like.
I drive a 99 SLK and I live in the Seattle area if any locals know a good place to look. I found the Dunlops at Speedware Motorsports in Redmond.

I'm not an R170 owner, but I happened to notice your thread. 
I have used the SP9000's for years now. They are a damn good performance tire, especially in the wet. They used to be the best tire out there. They have been passed by new tire designs, but they are still a top level performance tire with stupendous wet handling/braking. If you buyt hem, you will enjoy them.

So I decide to go ahead and order the Dunlops only to be told they are no longer available in my size.

I guess I get to start my search all over again.
