Question Degrees Celcius!

Anybody know if it is possible to get the LCD temperature guage to show in degrees Celcius/Centigrade, rather than Farenheit. Right now, I have a little post-it note stuck on my dashboard showing the conversions.

I spoke with the dealer and they were clueless on this, the teleaid support team had no idea. Surely it must be a simple process.

You should be able to change the settings using the steering wheel buttons. Insert the key (don't start the car) and play around with the options using the steering wheel buttons (changing time, etc.). I forgot what menu it was under but you can change it. See if the manual has any info. This is where you can also change the stereo settings so when you click the arrow up button, it either jumps to the preset stations, or scans the entire radio frequency.

I know that my '99 SLK doesn't have steering wheel buttons and suspect that neither do the newer models.

Really? I thought the buttons on wheel was standard for all models. In that case, no clue how to change the temperature setting.

SLKs and MLs don't have buttons on the steering wheel.

I believe the dealer can change fahrenheit to celsius by plugging the car into the diag computer.

Dealer will do it...

The dealer said that they can do it with the shop computer.
