SLK/R170: dash kits

99 Mercedes SLK 230
dash kits
Has anyone had a dash kit installed. I have a '99 SLK 230 with the black carbon fibre dash and was looking for alternatives. Maybe a dark wood trim or brushed metal look. If anyone has pics if installed kits, that would be awesome.

I installed a kit on my 99. I used Joshua Tree (supplier) dark walnut. They have all sorts of options. The kit went on easy and cost a little more than $300.00. I have traded the car and am now looking for the factory parts to upgrade my 03. You may try a dealer for the wood that comes in the SLK320.
