SLK 320 changes from 2001-2003

Does anybody know the year-to-year changes on the SLK320 from 2001-2003? Any year-to-year corrections, upgrades, etc for engine, transmission, exhaust system, electronics, interior, brakes, etc?

I know that the restyled model will be out in 2004/2005.

Just curious. I have a 2001 SLK320 auto with AMG 17" rims, xenon lights.

There were very few changes to the SLK320 from 2001 to 2003.

FEATURES:
Early '01 models had a flat valet key and flat master key.
Late '01 and '02-'03 models don't have either flat key.

Edit: 'Late '01 and '02-'03 models have an emergency trunk release cable inside of the trunk. I'm told that the flat keys are no longer offered because locking the car with the flat key would somehow defeat the emergency release.

COLORS:
'01 models had an option for designo Copper and Designo Goldenrod.
'02-'03 models have an option for designo silver and designo Terra cotta.
Pewter silver metallic is a new color for '03.

OPTIONS:
'01 models had an option for a Timeport phone.
'02 models had an option for either Timeport or V60 phone.
'03 models have an option for a V60 phone.

'01 SLK320 Sports came with older AMG body styling and AMG Styling I wheels.
'02-'03 SLK32 Sports come with new SLK32 AMG body styling and AMG Styling III wheels.

'01-'02 models had the CD changer installed at the port as part of the K2 package or by the dealer as an accessory.
'03 models have a separate and much cheaper option for a factory-installed CD changer.

That's all I know of. It's all pretty minor.

Yeah! Don't I regret that one... I should have gone with no changer and just installed a new head unit and changer from an aftermarket supplier!

Definitely nothing major. I know they go through software upgrades for the engine and transmission fairly frequently, but they aren't necessarily a good thing. For example, a software upgrade might solve a rough idle but decrease off-the-line performance (hypothetically).

BTW, I thought of one other change and added it to the list above.
