Better Leather Seats
Anyone want better leather seats in their SLK? I noticed how much better the quality of leather is in other models and other brands of cars than the SLK. I found a company that will custom make seat that will fit but they are looking for at least 5 orders up front to do a pattern off of my seats.
They might even improve on the padding and side bolsters as well. The pre face lift seats have the small side bolsters that were enlarged after 2000. So the pre-face lift seats could be upgraded along with better quality leather. They will also do two tone and perferated centers of the seat.
The company wrote:
We would be willing to pattern and build a set for your SLK for $879.00 plus shipping. That would be in any single color for both seats. Two-tone would be an additional $30.00 and perforated inserts would be an additional $50.00. That price includes a patterning fee of $250.00. If you could get five people to buy at the same time I could waive that patterning fee. Let me know if this will work for you.
