Whenever i drive my SLK over 30 MPH my hair starts to whip everywhere..... After about a 30 minute plus drive, i step out of the car and my scalp is all numb... I'm 6"0, and the seat is lowered all the way down. Have any of you guys experienced the same problem?

I'm only 5"8 and so I don't suffer this. A friend of mine who is 6"2 suffers from what you're talking about.Originally posted by altai1083

I'm 6'4" and with my seat all the way down and back there is no problem! I do adjust the rake a little bit to ensure that it's all the way down & back.

No idea what a windscreen is..... I assume it deflects wind... I doubt i have one if it didn't come with the car....Originally posted by Nektopoli

Sometimes nick-named a "bra", it's a flexible mesh shield that you mount over the two rollbars (hence the "bra" name). It prevents the wind cycling over the top of the car and rolling back into the cabin from behind. Originally posted by altai1083

If your car is still under warranty, then get the dealer to get you one. If not, then call the dealer and find out how much it will cost you. You can also get plexiglass ones which I understand are much better but you'll need to search the net for those ( I think myroadster.net sells them).
Seriously, you need this piece of gear! I use it all the time unless I'm cruising at low speeds.

ExploreThanks but the wind hitting my head isn't rolling from the front to the back but from up top....When i slouch alll the way back i don't have that problem..... i think i'll just start slouching back when i drive... the windscreen looks very useful to stop noise... i'll look into it....

The mesh windscreen that comes with the car still might help because it'll keep the airflow higher above your head. You also might want to check into the WSA 2000 windscreen available from www.myroadster.net. It's the best SLK windscreen on the market.
