Wanting to purchase a set of taillights..

Hi Everyone..

I recently saw a pair of taillights for bid at eBay starting at 35US, which I think is a very good price. But I've no experience in buying on eBay. Would like to ask for advise from anyone who have been a buyer there.

How reliable is eBay? And what is the best way to pay the seller? I've learned some bad things about PayPal from http://www.paypalwarning.com/ .. so I'm not sure if it's reliable.

Please share your experience. Thanks so much in advance.

Rick

I dont think you should have any problems buying a pair of tail lights from ebay. Especially since it not a big ticket item. You have to note that ebay is merely a trading place and it is up to the individual seller. So if you are really worried, go for sellers who have a lot of feedback i.e. who have traded on ebay for some time now and have positive feedback from prior sales to individuals. I find some great bargains there.

As for Paypal. I had a bad experience once more than a year ago. It has since been taken over by ebay. Either way, you can choose not to get verified and just pay for the item as a once off purchase. Paypal will notify the seller that you have sent payment via paypal immediately. So you dont have anything really to worry about.

Good luck on your purchase.

thanks..

Thanks Keng1 for your advice. I think I will go for it cuz my pax side taillight needs to be replaced due to a melted connector. So instead of getting just one older one.. i might as well change them both when there's a good deal.

Thanks again.
