The wheel looks great, better than the stock 1's i had with my SLK230...

 

Yeah i was curious... why exactly do some SLK's have black side skirts??... is it a NON-Sport SLK?

The 1998,99,00 non-Sports have the two tone, from 2001- On the lower body is the same color and the Sport pak is not listed as an option but you can till get it.(USA Model specs)

Btw my tires are Michelin pilotR 245/17/40 F225/17/45 (bought last month..looked for Goodyear but couldnt find 245 at the shop)
I used to have a Bridgestone SO2 with a beautiful design which looked thicker than these tires- i dunno how -...
Unfortunately they got harder by the time like the bloody Pirelli.

I attached my previous cars pic which i totalled when i was in university..it was brand new one and i could drive it only for 6 months.On a slippery road flipped one time and dragged upside down for 30 meters in the field..i had few stitches on my left arm and thanx god that was all..(a bigger &taller person would be probably dead )

Well , in options there was M3 aeordynamic sport pack.I just "ticked" it , because it looks better than the standard convertible ,-and at the back it was written 3.20i not M3 of course..
(Only Bodykit inc.spoilers and mirrors+ seats and colour belongs to M series- btw i regret that i bought a yellow one . In a small town everybody knows where you are and what you do..lol )
Is it something that you are not familiar with?Any combination is possible - as you know it depends on how much you pay.
(Some idiots put M3 amblems on their (E36)3.16i cars with a M aerodynamic pack...i think thats sad - a wannabe-
im sure you say what the hell is 3.16? You can be sure even 5.18 exists.(we pay 1.2 $ for a liter of unleaded gas , where our neigbours are petrol rich - It is same around in germany and Norway i think )

I ordered it when i have visited a friend in Munich - Germany- 4 months production order- and they shipped it to North Cyprus ( Hamburg - Antwerp- Famagusta) where i was a university student. I didnt buy it from Turkey because we pay here apprx 90% tax for the import cars
( a brand new corvette is 100.000 -110.000 here $- also i paid a lot for my SLK )
I saw also SLKs but at that moment with a teenage mentality , i didnt want to buy a 2 seated car.(what a dumbass i was ..more seats more girls heheh)

So i had the right to use the car with a visitor - student plate in Cyprus which means you dont have to pay tax..My plan was to leave the island after graduation with the car and pay the lower rate tax after 2 yrs and convert it into Turkish plate...
After the accident -totalled the car - i received the money from insurance and send it to dad and i had to drive a Suzuki Vitara for 1yr till the day i graduate . (It was a righthandside drive car because of the Cyp.traffic ..it sucked..i hate Suzuki you say Geo i think.. )

Yeah, don't you guys ever watch the European Touring Car Championship, have you ever seen a C180(W202) or an SLK200 with gas costing 3 to 4 time what it costs here Europeans get a whole slew of different engine options and cars. I love the Peugeot 206 cabriole,.

I was just confused because I've never heard of a 3.20 BMW. Also, I'm not familiar with them in general especially in different countries. If someone told me they have an SLK200 before I came on this board...I would say "NO, you have a 230...there's no such thing as a 200"

I understand you, i was surprised when they told me about the
3.25 iX ..i never heard a 4 wheel drive BMW before , but it exists ..Probably it covers 5 % of the production line.
But in this case SLK 200(without supercharger) is a very popular car and has a significant place in the production line.(Globally)
What i try to say is SLK 200 kompressor is rare Its not surprising for me that you ve never heard 200 kompressor ..but its really amazing that you dunno 200 and only know 230 and + models...
Not only with cars but with many other products i witness the same reaction , its amazing , you know only what you import or only know what is given to you..(not all but majority of people )
Maybe because you dont need to know,..why is that?Is that because you are the best ? :p or you dont belong to earth ..

I saw a lot of SLK200 Kompressors when I was in Stuttgart DE, but then again Mercedes Benz owns that town. Also the A3 are sweet little cars that we don't get state side. Nice car "S" keep the shiny side up on this one.

I spent a lot of time & money for my A3 to look more wilder.
It wasnt my choice , i mean buying an Audi but somehow i owned one (long story - lets say i get the car instead of cash )
High door heights(??dunno how to describe ) , baloony rear was not impressive for me at all..So i decided to work on it.
Some schnitzer bodykit wing +spoilers , xenons , RS4 rims , kingdragon exhausts, koni suspension &lowered. body , ..
I think it is easier to make changes on this car compared to SLK .
You can install a cheaper part or make a radical change on A3 .
Now i am unhappy about the colour , black always looks dirty and reflects every kind of scratch.I think i am gonna sell it after this summer ...( New Alfa Romeo looks great but the notorious italian transmission + engine is still a question mark...is there any Alfa Romeo in states? )
