There is a little plastic card that has the radio code on it. I keep mine in the flap for the manual books. If you don't have it (or have lost it), a Mercedes dealership can use your VIN# and last name to look up the code and give it to you. Since it is Sunday, you might be a little SOL until tomorrow morning, but you should be able to do it over the phone.

Good luck!

One other thing I was just thinking about is that, if you bought the car recently, then you might need to take your registration paper work to a dealership to prove the purchase. I've heard stories of some dealers being really strict about proving ownership before giving out the code.....so just a warning, but hopefully you don't have too much trouble.

On another note, this might be the perfect excuse to go and get an aftermarket radio. I've had a pioneer unit in mine since about a month after I bought it, and I love that I don't have to get in the trunk to put a CD in. It is also a good way to add a built in GPS system (assuming you have the funds).

Also, one other radio thought (and then I promise I will leave you alone ) is that, if you have the little radio bump on the trunk lid, then you can actually use that as a GPS antenna for a built in unit. The wire for that terminates under the driver's seat.

Okay, thats all the wisdom I have for now. Have a good evening!
