V8 conversion almost finished
Hello everyone,
I posted this on the technical section but since my Crossfire is nothing more than a reskined R170 I thought I would let you guys know that I am close to finishing my conversion from the V6 to a V8. Mechanically this is an easy swap. The hardest part is the electronics but I believe we have that figured out for the most part. I used an unlocked ECU from a V8 and then by using the Mercedes STAR diagnostic system in developer mode (german language only) we were able to associate all the other modules to work together as well as make the imobilization happy.
