2004 Chrysler Crossfire
V8 conversion with pics and video
Car is done and runs really good. This conversion would be exactly the same for any R170 SLK or Crossfire, but the SLK would be slightly easier since you don't have to program a Chrysler VIN number into The V8 Mercedes ECU.
It is very straight forward and actually very easy. Figure $1000 over the cost of the engine. I have $3000 in it but that is doing it myself. Krause's automotive in Lewisville TX (Dallas area) may be willing to do the whole conversion if you don't want to do it yourself.

I can't believe nobody's commented on the kick azz job you did on this project. Congrats on being a pioneer................and inspiring me to do a somewhat similar swap into my SRT-6 in the future.

Sickk job.. I got a side question...
Have you looked into an M104 swap? A lotta guys turbo those M104 engines and get 400+ hp easy.. then engine comes from an E300 usually.. Let me know what ya think!
