I have a 99 slk 230 i wanted to know if anybody has any Xenon head lights for it . and do you know about installtion? I was told if your car had the option of having the k4 package the the Xenon are just plug and play. But i dont think the 99 slks 230 have the option of the k4. Is there a kit so i can install Xenon in my car ?

You can buy Aftermarket HIDs. I reccomend you buy Aueserwald, Osram, or Phillips. With either Osram Xenarc 5400K or Phillips Ultinon 6000K D2S Bulbs. You have to do a little bending on the brackets for these bulbs to fit, but its relatively easy and they work well.

search ebay, i thought i saw a pair for sell on ebay. casing and bulbs and all. direct replacement

Be careful, the SLK Xenon will not "plug and play" in a non-Xenon SLK. According to MB, the wiring will not support the MB Xenon assembly.

Its a little pricey but they are bright as hell. I'm using Auerswald ballasts which can operate at either 35watts or 50watts. I have Osram Xenarc 5400K D2S bulbs. I got the kit from www.supremepowerparts.com

Little pricey but worth it.
