Exclamation Found Roof Remote Modul

Hi from Germany,

check this Link: http://www.slk-module.de/

They have 3 different kind! The best open the roof with your remote control.

There are not cheap but you can get the modules also over www.ebay.de

http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...tem=2412416010

if you are lucky!

Looks cool but....

Has anyone tried this. It's pretty cheap and looks nice but does it do the job they promise?

Another Option!

I can't read German so it's difficult to see what they have to offer. Her's another site to check out:

http://www.formymercedes.com/mb_resu...for+Vario+Roof

Looks interesting in that it uses the existing remote to control the roof and can be used up to 25 mph. The switch inside only needs to be tapped twice, I believe, and then it's hands free.

For me $395 US is a little steep (600 CDN)....but ya never know! It looks pretty cool.

Has anyone tried this one?

O.K.! Here is the translation from altavista:

1. Mercedes SLK roof remote maintenance
By the installation of this module the roof can be opened and closed by standard remote maintenance fully automatic.

This one included the module No.2 already!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2. Mercedes SLK roof mechanism
By the installation of this module opens and closes the roof fully automatic. The roof switch does not have to be held thereby no more up to the end of opening or reasoning, but needs to be touched lightly only briefly, in order to set the roof in motion.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

3. Mercedes SLK 50Km/h roof module
By the installation of this module the roof can be opened and closed up to a speed of 50Km/h .

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Myself and a lot off other people ordered the modules here in Germany and there are working great!
The Service is also good if you need help.
They help you over email. I hope the guy can speak english to help you.
Maybe they need to programm the modules different for the american slk`s!

Say hello from munich

Twice for top up/down plus windows up. Once for top up/down only.

I've installed the one from ForMyMercedes. It works great! (I'm the designer and manufacturer. )
