SLK/R170: key wont move help!!!!

key wont move help!!!!
so recently i r/r steering column on my 2005 slk 350 due to the fact
where the jacket module connects to column broke loose
i forgot to remove column lock cylinder from old column so i plugged every thing back in to attempt to release column lock cylinder at this point the key will not do anything door locks work key will not even turn to first position headlights will not come on basically nothing works besides radio
i am at a loss any ideas
