The SLK belongs to my youngest girl, currently 17 but has owned it since she was 15. My mechanic makes fun of me for driving it calling it a girly car but that's a good thing if you are a guy, no? If all the girls like it that's a plus.

I am 57 and have been into sports cars all my life. I love to drive fast and corners are like candy. I do not feel like this is a mid life thing. If you like to feel the road you can ride motorcycles I do that to. Or to be a little safer and enjoy the road you get a sports car.
I am glad to see many young people here when I was your age I was driving MG's and a Corvet and later a Porsche and a Stelth. The Benz I picked up in a trade is yellow which is maybe a little young for me but still it says sports car so I will get use to it.

I'm 22/Male and I really do adore the SLK32. Its very rare and I don't see any on the street like my car. I like to make a vehicle my own so I tweak it.

We'll probably bring the average age thing way up, but my wife [53] and I [56] just got a stunningly well maintained, silver '01 320SLK with only 16,500 miles on the odometer.
