Changes in SLK 98-01

Can anyone give me the details of what was changed on the SLK between 1998 and 2001? I know that the side mirror integrated turn signals were added in '01 but that's it. I am considering a used purchase and would like to know before going to look at a ton of cars.

Thanks.

03' SLK230 get the red line bumped up to 6,200 RPMs, i don't know how this helps the 0-60's times, but with the 5,800 RPM red line it take 2 shifts to make 60.

I'll probably update it when the model year is over, but I think the only changes from 2002 were two new exterior colors.

Don't forget the updated transmission hardware/software in the SLK 32 AMG. Not officially listed (part#'s are the same) but it's a significant change.

I'm inclined to say that this type of "change" doesn't really belong in the list. Manufacturers constantly make small improvements in the course of production, such as redesigned fasteners, wire routing, and software upgrades.

Also, the significance is relative. Owners might say it's significant, but I'm quite sure that Mercedes-Benz would not.
