What to look for ? WTB a SLK

Looking at buying one of these little SLK's for my wife any year newer than 99 with under 100 K. Any problems to look out for on these cars? any major maintenance that needs to be done around that time?

SLK230
I picked up a '98 with 41K miles on it. looked like it could still set on the showroom floor; honestly. So . . look for a low mileage piece. They are out there. One that isn't all chipped ( soft vinyl paint ) up on the inside and has been regularly maintenanced mechanically. Nice little cars, enjoy.

On the 170 chassis, be sure to pull out the spare tire and check for water in the trunk. They were known for leaking and damaging electrical components in the trunk...otherwise pretty reliable and not much fails. It's a light car and easy to work on.
