SLK/R170: Grille modification questions

Grille modification questions
Looking at Jerry's website and the numerous posts I see there are at least two available grilles, the CLK and the SL. Question is, I don't see much difference. Does anyone have any experience, comments, preferences?

There are two different styles:
The R129-SL style has 7 horizontal bars. It is an aftermarket part designed to fit the SLK.
The R230-SL stylie has 4 horizontal bars. It is actually the factory grill from the W209 CLK that has been modifed to fit the SLK.
There is another R230-SL grill available, but I don't think Jerry sells it. It was from DJH, but everyone complained that it didn't fit right and when you looked at it up close, it just didn't look well-made.
