slk 230 Battery Charging Light on
Hello All,
I have a 1998 slk230. I had a new battery fitted and since then the Charging light is on all the time.
I have tested the Alternator and found that there is no power to the Field terminal. I connected a wire from +terminal to the field terminal and the charging light goes out.I am assuming the alternator is fine because I drove to the garage to have new battery fitted and all was well.
Does anyone have a link to a wiring diagram of the charging system?
Could the K56 Relay be at fault?
