Will always love my SLK230
A few days ago I was involved in an accident and the insurance company declared my baby (SLK230) totaled, because the damages were 75% of what she was worth. Been crying since. My 1998 White SLK230 was my trade mark and the only one of it's kind in my area. She never gave me any problems, very reliable, and provided me with good times and memories to last a life time. She was a car version of me; not too flashy but sexy and very stylish. She has been there when people fell short of being my true friend to my break-ups. I would get in my SLK and be reminded that i need genuine, reliable people around just like she's always been for me.
I took very good care of my car, from her regular A & B service to preventative maintenance to detailing. Had her for 8 good years (the best years of my life) I planned on keeping her for ever or as long as i possible could, just never imagined our relationship would end so sadly like this.
Now I'm looking for a new SLK230 and have test driven two. Let me just say, it's not the same feeling that I had with my White SLK230.

It's not quite the same, but I've found that missing your SLK is a bit like missing a pet who's passed on. For non-pet owners, they really don't understand the sadness, but pet owners do. When you miss your SLK, only fellow SLK owners can really mourn with you.
