Anybody have CD Changer bracket for sale for a '98 SLK?

Bought a changer off eBay but it had the wrong bracket. Anybody have a bracket they are willing to part with? Thanks!

What bracket do you have? I have a the small size changer (newer models) mounted to a large bracket (older models). If you have the smaller bracket, I would be willing to work something out. BTW: my bracket is only the part that the CD changer bolts to, which in turn bolts to the car.

Not sure which bracket I have

The bracket may be for a sedan, maybe the E series as it came in a carpeted enclosure. My changer is the older one, not optical. I can take a pic of it for you.

Email me for that and if you could also email a pic of your bracket. Would your bracked work on a '98 SLK 230?

Yeah, that's the bracket for a sedan (W202 C-class or W210 E-class). It's made to sit down in a cubby hole in the trunk. You might be able to get a stereo shop to cut and bend a piece of metal that will adapt the sedan bracket to the SLK.

The one that CopperDesigno has is most likely for the W203 C-class which has the small form-factor changer that mounts in the glove box. It won't work for your changer.

It sucks that MBUSA charges so much for the bracket. I think the list price is $105 now, and I thought it was expensive back in 1998, when it listed for only $68.
