SLK/R170: slk320 warning lights

slk320 warning lights
Hi , Replaced the alternator regulator on my 2003 slk320, the alternator works fine , but now when i turn the ignition switch to the on position, the warning lights on the right side of the panel come on momentarily and go right off. The battery light never comes on . After engine starts voltage reads 14.3 volts.
Anyone out there have a similar problem?

When those lights on the instrument cluster come on as you move the ignition key it is my understanding that it is only an illumination test. Perhaps that one bulb has burned out, but it seems strange the light has gone out just after you worked on the alternator. Good luck.
