Auto-Dimming Mirrors Went Out!
Anyone else have this problem? My driver side and rear view mirrors are out, they look busted!
Anyone know where to pick up Mercedes parts cheap? The dealer quoted me over $400 for both lenses!

Unfortunately SLK parts are not as commoditized as other mainstream sedan parts. The same goes for the SL and to a smaller degree the CL (Shares some parts with S Class).
You can try an independent car shop and find out if they can order the part for you.
My windshield cost at the MB dealer was over $400 but an independednt car shop quoted me $275 for the same part - the windshield for cars with rain sensor.
Amazing eh?
