Lightbulb New Verizon Bluetooth Phone

A new motorola bluetooth phone will be in the market soon (http://www.phonescoop.com/news/item.php?n=787), and I am curious to know if anyone has heard of a way to make a new motorola phone work with a slk 230, 2001 system...

Any aftermarket upgrade possibility (I don't mean bluetooth add-ons, just a way to make a motorola phone work w/ the Mercedes speaker system already in the car).

I got the AUX input attachment and it works great with my Mini Ipod. People are always finding a way to get around almost impossibe tasks, so it doesn't hurt to ask....

I have been watching the V710 for about a month now and bluetooth phones in general for a couple months. With Bluetooth you don't really need to intergrate into the car. You can keep the phone in your pocket, purse, briefcase, trunk, anywhere within 30 feet and use a headset to take incoming or make outgoing calls. I tried a Jabra add-on headset for NON-bluetooth phones, and in my SLK with the top down it had no interference. I would imagine the new moto headsets will be similar or the Jabra headset for bluetooth phones will be great.

Just my 2 cents.

I would prefer to use the car's microphone and speaker or sound system connected to the phone via bluetooth. That would eliminate the need for a headset.

Yes. i had a bluetooth phone for a while and although not having a wire is cool, driving with the headphone is anoying. If one doesn't, everytime the phone rings, (if you can hear it in the car witht he sound system on), finding the headphone while driving and putting it on can be a challenging.

While with the integrated phone system things a much easier...
