sweet smell in air system

having an issue with a really sweet smell (reminds me of coolant smell) in my air system, either in ac mode or heater mode. dealership has pressure tested twice, and claims no coolant leak. MB claims no knowledge of what's happening---others besides myself can smell it---any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Silver Lana--so far, the dealer has had my car for 9 days---and while they do admit to noticing the smell-they have no ideas either!

I will say that the weather here has been pretty good so its been top down for me most of the time so It doesnt really bother me much. By the way, the sweet smell goes away after about 5 seconds of having the AC on.

Try this

With a hot car and the windshield cool, turn the heat to high and blow it on the windshield. Turn off the AC switch. If it fogs your window, it's probably a pinhole coolant leak.

You could always take a taste of the condensate out of the bottom as well.
