Changing Gauges
I need to replace the gauges in my SLK, as my gas gauge no longer works. Heres my replacement.
What I need to know is whether this is an easy swap and if it changes anything, such as the mileage. It's a digital readout so you'd think it would be an easy swap, but I really don't know. Any help is appreciated.

When you connect the new cluster, the mileage on your replacement speedometer/odometer will be displayed.
You have the choice of swapping your old speedometer/odometer to the new cluster, or going to a speedometer repair shop who can re-calibrate the new odometer to your old one.
Removal of the cluster is not too difficult. The steering wheel does not have to be removed.
