MP3 adapter
I found on the net an adaptor for a portable mp3 player, and I wonder if anybody has tried it or can tell me of any adaptor that could fit my car, I have a Audio 10 CD installed on my 98 SLK, and I wonder if it will work with it.
The price it shows is 119$. Any comments?
Thank you all.

I'm the MP3 adapter developer. The adapter should work with the Audio 10. Actually the head unit is turned off when the adapter is used - the adapter drives the Bose system directly when enabled.
There aren't many choices for these Mercedes audio systems. An FM modulator, wired or wireless, is about the only other choice. Cheaper, but the sound quality is not as good.

Do you have the adapter installed on your car? No problems with the radio? The installation is as easy as it appears on the pictures? Thanks a lot for the info!

I do. The pictures are of the installation in my car. There are no problems with the radio; the system works well. Installation is easy - the hardest part is removing the radio, and that's not hard. It is really plug and play.
