Seat relay 2001 320

Hi
Both power seats now dead, has been intermittent but now stopped.
I'm assuming a faulty relay, any advice please of location and fitting?
Thanks

attached is a diagram for the seat control. K24 is the relay, and S22/S23 are the control panels on each seat. The second pic shows the location for the relay (K24)

HTH,
Chris

Thank You Chris,
As it's a RHD vehicle do I assume the relay is on the right above the pedals?

That is where I would look first. The relay has both door-switches as "control" inputs (and draws its power from the K40), so there is no location (under that dash) that is fundamentally better than another ... so it would seem likely that it is mounted above the pedals in the RHD version.

Cheers,
Chris

Ps
The seats working for now, would that indicate a faulty relay?

Hard to say. I have never heard of one failing, but if you had easy access (which requires a fair amount of disassembly), you could jump across the relay (from pin 8 to pin 2) and see if that solves it ...
