CLK or SL grill on SLK, good or bad

Through other posts I have seen some issues with the conversions for the CLK grills on the SLKs. Some people claim the grills didn’t fit proper and that the hood hit in some cases and there are uneven gaps on sides. Also poor support from a certain ebayer.

I have seen some grills on ebay for $150-$175 plus shipping. I have seen a claim that someone bought a CLK grill for $98.

Does anyone recommend the grill conversion? Which grill should I get? What is the year of the respective CLK, or SL grill? I like the chrome bars with the black.

2002 Mercedes 200 SLK, ...

I purchased the black and chrome CLK Avantgarde grill from http://www.x-t-c.com/ in Germany for 169.00 Euro plus shipping. 1 Euro = 1.29 U.S. $. It fits great, is of good quality, and looks really good on my 2002 200 SLK. I had other accessories installed, and had a body shop deal with the job...
