I've been looking for a source of wood trim items (the works!) for my 2002 200 SLK. I live in Europe, and Spangenburg and Stein MP Design were both recommended as sources... Here are there replies:

old SLK. If you want to have this you must send us your original parts

Does ForMyMercedes.com carry the full line,and has anyone ordered them? I just purchased a bunch of accessories from Jerry, and he's been great giving me European leads, etc. If he still offers all of the wood trim items, it would be a pleasure to deal with him, although it might be a displeasure getting my bill from Italian customs!

I just received an e-mail from Jerry, and he has none of the calyptus wood accessories in stock. I want the full set... He's trying to find me a supplier in Europe right now. Jerry's been really great with my order, and i appreciate his help to track me down the wood trim.

Thanks, E-Klasse; great heads up! I'm wondering if anyone has applied the veneer to their slk, and has experienced fialure of the adhesive... Any input would be appreciated; thanks!

I had at set on one of my other cars and the adhesive stayed tight for as long as I owned the car. If they us the same 3M product on the back it will stay on for a long time.

Thanks again, E-Klasse! I checked the customer satisfaction ratings of the company, and you can't beat 100%... Most mentioned that the product itself was high quality, so the same £M adhesive is probably used.

I was all set to purchase original MB parts with the veneer applied, which would have cost me at least 4X more. A customer service representative of the company is currently processing my order, and will make the trim parts for my particular car options. Thanks again for your help!
