Top up wind noise

I'm getting a little wind noise with the top and windows up. This is far less than any traditional convertable I've driven, and it's not really annoying, but I still wanted to know if everyone else is experiencing it. It's been that way since the day I got the car.

I'm just wondering if the dealership can do anything to fix it, or if it's just a drawback of the articulating top...

Do you use either the mesh or plexiglass (tecnically its Lexan but anyways) wind screen? If not it really helps make road noise alsmost non existent, Natually with the top down you will get some noise but i was surprised at how little noise there is. Also, i notices that the plexiglass windscreen was slightly quieter than the mesh, it also came with a nice SLK branded bag and took about 1 minute to install. A little pricy at $450 but i think its worth it, and hey it is MB so you have to expect to pay a little more.

actually I really like the wind when the top is down. I don't use either at any time. It's hard to see how using either one would really help with the top up, though... it's really kind of a muffled rattle I'm hearing with the top up. I'm pretty sure it's the glass rattling on the rubber liners...

I just re-read your post and realized that you were getting noise with the top UP!!, hmm the only noises I get are a little creak when the body twists, ie parking etc. Other than that i dont notice any, if it really bad, take it to the dealer.

No noise, runs quiet and have not noticed anything unusual .... Even with the many pot holes here I sometimes miss (or hit) and get a jolt but car is tight and no unusual noises.
