Make DVD-Nav Comand to play DVDs
I do not have any skill or training in this, but I went to Phantom Electronics, which are very good with stuff like what I am about to say, and the guy at the desk told me all you have to do is take the GREEN WIRE and attach it to the GROUND WIRE. He then said that you are able to play DVDs. So don't buy a new command for 400 dollars or more,, try this out first. I might try to do this myself, if I do I will post pictures of the process.

I worked for a highly reputable aftermarket car stereo/electronics dealer in North Carolina for nine years. I can give you one piece of advice...
DON'T DO IT, MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MB electronics are so, so flaky that I wouldn't take the word of anyone other than an MB mechanic (who probably wouldn't give you a straight answer anyway). See if your electronics shop is willing to do it for you for a fee. That way if they screw something up it's their financial burden, not yours. They'll probably make you sign a legal waiver about watching movies while driving. Make certain it doesn't exempt them from damage done to the car.
Just a thought...

Please let us know how "your little nugget of juicy information" works out on your electronics... it would be neat to have a digital camera and fire extinguisher handy for this little "experiment"...
