Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to say you did the wrong thing. You obviously know more about tuning than I do... I'm just curious as to the logic behind the decision...
i think i can answer that..

The automatic is a lot more consistant then a manual transmission and not to mention more driver friendly around the busy streets of Miami during rush hour, which is about 5 to 6 hours out of a days driving. As far as nitrous, the only advantage I see with the manual is the ability to use a TPS and have nitrous engage at WOT, when you let off the throttle to shift, you let off the nitrous as well rather then spray through the gears, which im sure is no big problem for the transmission unless you are spraying a big shot. You can bypass this system by using a MSD window switch, or simply use a trigger to engage the nitrous yourself, when you know the car is on WOT. Im not any expert on nitrous systems but I have done a little share of research to make certain conclusions.

oh and for anyone who thinks my C32 is on nitrous... im not .... just cuz i walked on a 500whp cobra and a W211 E55 doesnt mean im on spray damnit

Yo bro, how come in your cardomain site it says:

Performance Modifications
Brake Upgrades: Brembo
Drivetrain / Transmission: AMG
Engine Components: Brabus
Header: AMG
Intake: AMG
Performance Chip: Brabus
Shocks: H&R
Springs: H&R
Major Upgrades: nitrous, supercharger

Your rear brakes don't look big enough to warrent after market Brembo's. Where'd you get an AMG tranny? And what Brabus stuff do you have? I thought Brabus didn't make ECU's? And where'd you get your AMG headers as well. Same with intake?

Where's the supercharger also?

first off front brakes are changed to brembo not back ones, intake and headers where baught at hp motoring in miami. as for ECU, brabus has one, but its really about the same as stock chip, thats was also baught at hp motoring

as for supercharger, it is not currently placed on the car yet...but i twill be soon...there is no force induction (SC/turbo) for the slk 350 at the moment, but my sponsored shop (hpmotoring) is developing one at the moment for it....experimental...if it works out i will give you all details of it....sorry for confusion

Cool cool, that's pretty tight. Why'd you go down do the AMG 5-Speed when the 7g-Tronic can handle whatever the R171 can push out? Also, why headers from AMG Germany rather then something which flows better like Supersprint? Same issue with intake? Why the AMG restrictive intake when there are hundreds of better one for a lot cheaper price?

Also, if the Brabus chip is the same, why'd you get that one? Also did you have to adapt it from another car because none of my Brabus vendors are telling me they make a chip for the R171 yet. You should've looked at perhaps Powerchip or Kleemann, I think both of them offer a solution for the R171.

What company is the supercharger from? Why are you getting a Japanese Specialist shop to work on the SLK?

Sorry for all the questions, I'm a broker of information The more I know, the better I can help everyone out

BTW: Do you have a better picture of the front brakes? On both sides btw, I want to see if they installed them like AMG installs their bbk's on the 65's or reverse. Also, you might want to get the rears changed as well to match the fronts in braking power, having massive brakes in the front overpowering the rears is dangerous and one of the worst things to have when racing on the track. That's why StopTech goes for balance.

Excellent read.

for one thing everything is free.....supercharger is a customed made by the company.....as for all the restrictions, it keeps me from trees ...i still got 7-speed, just with the amg shifting....(behind steering wheel), the nos is all that is giving me speed at the moment and its mostly used for show purposes

Ah so the supercharger will also be just for show right? Because it's kinda countering the restrictive breathing products from AMG. Same with the adapted 'grey' market ECU chip.

BTW: What all did you have to change for the tranny? Every AMG car still has a Mercedes transmission. What makes yours special to make it AMG? Just the SpeedShift?

I understand NOS is for show, I'm even scared to see guys run spray on the track for fear of going BOOM! :p

That's wicked cool btw to get all of it for free!

its not too special, the fact is the all that work is done to improve the torque and keep the hp almost the same....even tho i love this car...it is a sponsored car so i can barely enjoy it......i will have more details on the work being done soon...

bought the Racing exhaust sorry

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sorry I misinformed everyone I actually had the Racing exhaust put in. The dealer call this morning and said the car sounds awesome. I am bringing the digital video camera when I pick the car up today at 1pm. I hope to be able to post a video on here. If not the web site listed above will be sent the link.

Also in 2 weeks the car will be racing on the Mosport international racetrack near Toronto. I have 9 hrs of track time I booked to see what this car can really do. If anyone in Ontario is interested its a racing school where you drive your own vehical.

anyone interested follow the link.
